Introducing the Sherpa Fountain Pen 3.0

With the Sherpa Fountain Pen 3.0 refresh, we have gone back to the drawing board and redesigned our fountain pen insert from the ground up. Our newest creation has been engineered specifically to fit your existing Sherpa Classic, Classic Contemporary, Balance, and Ultimate pen covers to perfection.

We listened to your feedback and optimized the design for performance and comfort. We chose a lightweight build so that your Sherpa Pen remains comfortable and balanced in your hand, even during long writing sessions.

*Each fountain pen includes (1) ink converter and (1) ink cartridge.

Available Nib Sizes

To launch, we are offering the Sherpa Fountain Pen 3.0 with three essential stainless-steel nib sizes to suit most writers:

Extra-Fine: For precise lines and detailed work.

Fine: A versatile size for everyday writing.

Medium: A smooth, classic line for general use.

Getting Started: Ink and Maintenance

Filling Your Pen

Your Sherpa Fountain Pen 3.0 can be filled using either an ink cartridge or an ink converter.

Using an Ink Cartridge: Simply push the new cartridge firmly into the back of the fountain pen grip section until you feel it click into place.  You can find our full selection of ink cartridges here.

Using an Ink Converter:

1. Attach the converter to the back of the FP grip section as you would a cartridge.

2. Once installed, submerge the nib completely into your bottle of fountain pen ink.

3. Twist the converter's piston mechanism to draw the ink up through the nib and into the converter reservoir.

4. Wipe any excess ink from the nib and grip section with a clean, soft cloth.

If Your Tip Dries Out:

If your pen was left uncapped or has been inactive for a period of time, the tip of the nib can dry out.  To revive a stubborn nib, simply run the very tip of the nib briefly under cool tap water for 1–2 seconds. This should dissolve the dried ink and allow it to write smoothly again.  After 1-2 sentences of writing, the ink should regain its full vibrancy and start behaving like normal again.
